Today, we start with a major announcement about Acronis' most significant consumer product, Acronis True Image. In the next few months we will see more new things announced to enhance this key consumer product. I will make sure the user group community is among the first to hear about these exciting new developments from Acronis as they occur. Today, Acronis announced that they are changing the name of Acronis True Image to Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office. For years True Image has been the leading backup utility in the microcomputer marketplace. The past couple of years, Acronis has significantly enhanced their True Image product to also include a wide range of internet protection utilities to guard your home computer from the growing Cyber attacks. While many new features have been added to True Image, the strong core backup utility continues as a key feature of True Image. Since the name True Image describes the backup function, it does not reflect the many enhancements to protect your computer from cyber attacks. Hence, the broad name Cyber Protect Home Office was selected to replace True Image. Cyber Protect Home Office comes in three versions – Essentials, Advanced, and Premium.
