I still have minor issues to deal with, but nothing we can't handle. So, we are ready to offer you the Acronis consumer products for another year. However, other defenses of the Internet evils were needed, so the last couple of years Acronis evolved True Image into a full Internet protection product. They also changed its name to Cyber Protect Home Office (CPHO) to better define its expanded roll. Acronis CPHO runs on either IBM compatible PC computers or Apple MAC computers. Acronis CPHO is available in 3 versions as follows: - CPHO Essentials - This version provides you with only the backup utility (similar to prior True Image) plus the anti-Ransomware feature. The more expensive Acronis CPHO Advanced 500GB is adequate to backup all of your data files daily to the Internet. With either size, you would also backup your entire hard drive weekly to an external hard drive to give you excellent backups. This version is for most users that need full protection from Internet hackers at a reasonable cost. - CPHO Premium - This version also includes the backup utility and full anti-malware utility but includes 1TB of Acronis Cloud storage to back up your entire hard drive to the Internet. Additional Cloud storage may be purchased from Acronis to give you up to 5TB. The Premium version also includes two additional advanced features to give you the most powerful protection against the evils of the Internet available anywhere. This version is for those that want the best protection available today from Internet hackers. If you only have one computer in your household to protect, then you can skip what follows. However, if you have multiple computers in your household, then you can purchase Acronis CPHO at great quantity discounts for either 3 or 5 computers. These quantity discounts are available in two forms: - You can purchase Acronis CPHO with one serial number for installation on 3 or 5 computers. This is the least expensive option but comes with some limitations. All the computers covered should be in one household to easily share one serial number. The annual subscription period is the same for all computers sharing the one serial number. The Acronis Cloud storage is shared by all computers. - You can purchase Acronis CPHO with multiple serial numbers for installation on 3 or 5 computers. While slightly more expensive, this option gives you more flexibility. Each computer has its own serial number, thus making it easier to manage when computers are in different locations. The annual subscription period is determined by when each serial number is registered, so they all don't expire together. Each serial number has its own Acronis Cloud storage, so more storage is available with this approach. Finally, more than one serial number may be registered on one computer, thus giving that computer two or more years as the subscription period. A disadvantage of the multiple serial number approach is that each computer must be registered separately. Selecting one of these outstanding Acronis products can give you all the protection your computer needs from the evils of the Internet. These three products come as annual subscriptions and include continual support and updates as needed. They also include free upgrades as new function is added by Acronis.
