Dear colleagues,
After having reviewed the dates preferred by all who filled out the earlier survey, we have decided to convene the second Conference on Middle Period Chinese Humanities at Leiden University, September 14-17, 2017. Scholars working on the period covering the Tang through the Ming dynasties in all fields are welcome to participate. We are writing to call for paper abstracts and to announce the conference website.
Submission guidelines:
Please submit an abstract of 300 to 500 words (in English or Chinese) and a CV by October 1, 2016 to: middle.period17@hum.leidenuniv.nl. Those whose abstracts are accepted will be notified by December 1, 2016.

We have arranged conference rates with several local hotels. For rates and hotel locations see the “Accommodation” section of the above site. Accepted participants will receive the registration codes for all hotels in December to make reservations.
