Here's a clean copy.   The poem will appear in Poet Lore
        in the Fall/Winter, 2013 issue.

        

        Victor, I just read again your fine tribute to Elling in the
        T'ang Studies Society Journal.  And that led me onto the
        internet to see that a charitable foundation has been created
        with good people on its board to preserve Elling's library.  And
        that yet another foundation was created to preserve his
        incomparable gardens.     

        

        

        Maybe it's not so important to forward my poem.  It clear he is
        remembered well.
