Dear Members and Friends of T'ang Studies,

Please accept a revised friendly reminder with corrected weblinks. With generous support from the Tang Research Foundation, the T’ang Studies Society is pleased to announce funding for grants to support research by society members in any discipline on the Tang dynasty in a broad geographical and chronological scope. The grants can support various types of expenses that arise during research including travel, book purchases, graduate assistants, and databases fees.

Amount of Awards: Up to $3000

Application Deadline: August 30, 2020. Recipients will be notified by September 30, 2020.

All applicants must be T’ang Studies Society members in good standing to be considered. Membership information can be found at http://tangstudies.org/Membership.html.

Please note: Applicants may apply for multiple types of Society grants in a given calendar year, but may only receive one grant annually. Applicants who have not received grants in the prior year will be given preference. Grant recipients also are eligible to serve on T'ang Studies Society sponsored panels at AAS and receive subventions.
