Just a reminder that the T’ang Studies Society will once again offer sponsorship for one or more deserving panels that addresses topics related to the study of the Tang dynasty at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Association for Asian Studies planned for Seattle, WA. The sponsorship includes small subventions for individual panelists, including travel and registration expenses. Panels may be presenting on site or virtually.
Note that AAS has removed the panel sponsorship option from its panel proposal form. In line with that, the Society will entertain panel sponsorship applications AFTER panels have been accepted for inclusion in the AAS Annual Meeting program. Moreover, since AAS extended its panel proposal and notification deadlines by two weeks, the T'ang Studies Society application deadline likewise has been extended.
EXTENDED APPLICATION DEADLINE: October 30, 2020. Recipients will be notified by November 30, 2020.
