Dear Members and Friends of the T'ang Studies Society,
Tang Studies volume forty-two has just come out both online and in print! Subscribers should be receiving their print copies soon, or can access it online already on Project Muse. This is another hefty issue containing Huaiyu Chen's study of Prabhākaramitra; Timothy W.K. Chan's study of a hagiography of the Buddha attributed to Wang Bo; Tyler Feezell's close reading of a fu poem by Wu Yun; and Jao Tsung-i's classic study of Wu Zetian's religious convictions, newly translated by Frank Saunders Jr. The volume concludes with Paul W. Kroll's appreciation of a prose essay, "A Winter's Night in Chang'an."
Best regards,
