Hey BBTC!! I have had some great responses from many of you in favor of more mountain bike rides on the schedule, so now let's get them posted. If everyone that has offered to lead rides could think about getting some posted to the May calendar I will then look to fill in the gaps in the rides offered to make sure we have at least a couple per week to choose from and that we also offer rides for all abilities. This is a perfect time for new riders as well as experienced offroad riders to start riding. The easier rides are always the first to dry up and allow us to start building a base in the dirt. Don't forget, the deadline for the calendar is Sunday the 15th. I know the current weather is making it hard to get off the pavement this week, but overall the early season dirt riding has been fantastic already. The BST has been dry and tacky and most of the downhills are in really good shape already (Bobsled & Dry Gulch). Also, Round Valley in Park City is also dry already and I have heard that Glenwild is as well. The north and east slopes though are still a little too wet to ride yet and with the current weather pattern this week we may have to sit out of the dirt for a while again, at least in PC, but I don't think it will be too long. Of course Moab is also an option! Let's get out and ride! Rob Y.
