The annual Deseret News Marathon is running the same day. Road closures include the road up to Big Mountain Pass from the East (Hwy 65). The DesNews Marathon starts at 5:30 and runs the 5-6 miles down canyon before heading up Emigration and points West. If you are driving up to Morgan early, it would be well advised to avoid both Emigration and Hwy 65 as there may still be some congestion on Hwy 65 after 6:30 and for a few more hours on Emigration road as the run loops around the zoo and back up Emigration for a spell. http://deseretnews.com/run/maps.pdf for the map of the race. If you do decide on hitting Hwy 65, get there early and wave us on....
