Hey
BBTC!!
Let’s
Ride! We have another GREAT line up for the week. The only thing missing is
Mary Margret’s beginner / recovery ride tonight, but if anyone still
wants to do the ride, let me know, I will be happy to lead the group. Of course
the ever popular Emigration ride with Penny is on Tuesday or for those in the
south end of the valley, Craig’s Sego Lily ride has received many
compliments so far. Wednesday is the last day to climb

Most riders call this trail
the "Eight Thousand Foot Trail." It's an awesome singletrack ride
that rocks up and down at the 8000-foot level, from Park City Mountain Resort
to The Canyons Resort. This 8000-foot portion of the trail is 11.3 miles
long. We will climb the Spiro trail to mid mountain and then descend Holly's
downhill on the Canyons and then the farm trail back to PC. Bring plenty of
water and food for the trail, its a four to five hour ride. Check out
utahmountainbiking.com for a full ride description. |

This is a popular beginner
level trail. Much of the trail is smooth hard-pack dirt. But the narrowness,
exposure to steep hillsides, and occasional tricky terrain make it an
intermediate technical trail. Much of the trail is shaded cruising through
the woods, while the western third is exposed to wind or heat on steep
slopes. Except for the descent into Burch Hollow (about 600 feet vertical),
there isn't much elevation change on the Pipeline trail. |

|
Meet at: Drive 3.5 miles past
the fee station. Park near the gate 1/4 mile past the Burch Hollow trailhead. |
