Meet in trailhead parking lot on North side of road (12600 and Jordan River) for a 4 mile round trip ride. Park bikes and walk up short hill to overlook steaming, hot spring (?) pool. It’s a SEFIL ride (Slow, Easy, Flat, Ice cream Likely). Bring helmet, water, ice cream money.

Ride the SL marathon course ahead of the runners. Course will be completely closed to all other vehicle traffic. Cyclists must start at 6:00 AM, no late arrivals/starts. Also cyclists must maintain a 15 mph minimum average speed. This is a fee ride, cost is $35

Farmington Bay Bird Refuge

Meet at the Davis County Court House, corner of State St. & Main St. in Farmington at 1 p.m. for this easy paced ride around west Farmington. We’ll skirt past the edge of the Bird Refuge & we’ll stop for a few minutes to view the wildlife. This is a great ride for families or beginners. Beginner’s Jordan River Parkway, fish ponds section

Ride 5 miles round trip on the Jordan River Parkway, then stay and fish. The new park includes two stocked trout ponds for kids and licensed fishermen. Meet at Riverfront Park (11200 South, 920 West). To get there, take 10600 South until you see Mulligan’s driving range, and then turn south 1 mile on Riverfront Parkway through new office building construction. It’s a SEFIL ride (Slow, Easy, Flat, Ice cream Likely). Bring helmet, water, ice cream money – or rod and bait!
