Well the weather is planning another change but overall it looks like another good week ahead. The MUST ATTEND ride this week is the Josie Johnson Memorial ride on Saturday.

Bicyclists of all ages, interests, and abilities are invited to come ride together for bicycle safety awareness. This ride is in remembrance to those killed in car collisions while riding their bicycle and honors Josie Johnson, who was killed while riding up Big Cottonwood Canyon on September 18, 2004.

Jen lives and so does the coffee ride. A nice 30 mile South Valley Loop (aka the bull run). If the weather is really bad we can shorten it to either a 22 or 8 mile loop. Coffee after at Beans and Brews

East-side benches, West-side lakebed and a tour of Antelope Island to boot. A distance for everyone. For the 100 and 80-mile options, bring $4 per person entry fee to Antelope Island. The 60-mile ride turns around at the toll booth. Also a 40-mile option. Single bikes always welcome.

 

Meet at: Hatch Park, Main & Center Streets in North Salt Lake. Drive US Hwy 89 (Beck St) into NSL. (Stay on US 89, not I-15.) Turn left on Center St. Drive 1 block to Hatch Park.
