Hi all. I want to thank everyone who took care of me after Saturday's ride. I recall hearing Mary-Margaret and Don's voices as I was loaded into the ambulance. I gotta tell you their voices were music to my ears. Thank you to all of you who showed up at the hospital for me. I'm mending and will be on the road as soon as Doc gives me the go ahead. More later. Looks like KC lost control upon entering the milled section which also included a 3/4 inch lip in the middle of the shoulder - she went down to her right and struck the concrete jersey barrier that lines the freeway there. her helmet took a direct hit at the 2 o clock position but didnt split. there were wind gusts coming up canyon so it was a tricky piece of roadway. Extreme caution in Parleys is warranted until the paving debacle is corrected. D

Can you give those of us who weren’t there an idea what happened Saturday? Was it on the way up or down the canyon at the end of the day? Did someone hit her?
Greg

For everyone that has been worried about KC, we are hearing that she is doing well after her crash on Parley's and is planning on attending the MS 150. We hope she continues to recover and that she isn't in much pain!
Thanks to everyone who helped when the accident occured. Big thanks to Don and Mary Margaret. They kept everyone calm, and really took over to make sure KC was ok. I probably would not have gotten back on the bike if Don hadn't been there to talk to everyone and make sure everyone was ok. Mary Margaret was invaluable helping KC to remain calm and still until help arrived. She talked to KC for a good 20 minutes to keep her awake and alert. Thanks so much.
The rest of the group kicked into gear trying to find a way to reach her husband. Thank God Tara remembered Steve and Ann's (of Bad Ass) telephone number. She contacted him and they were able to find enough numbers to contact Paul, Ana and CiCi. Everyone was calling anyone they could think >of that might know a cell number for Paul.
Penny was first down and headed up to the hospital so that KC would not be there alone, thank you so much for that. Thanks to everyone that trickled into the hospital and called in to make sure she was ok.
You hate to see something like this happen, but it sure shows you what >great people we have in BBTC. Thank you to everyone involved. I know we all >hope KC the most speedy recovery.
