Anyone for a ride this Friday from Wanship toEcho?
Hi,
I don't have it on the schedule, but I'm going to do a
fairly flat "Back Side" ride this Friday, May 26 in the "banana
belt" of Summit County. We will go from Wanship to Echo and
back, about 30 miles and not very much elevation change.
We'll begin at 10AM at the Rail Trail Park 'N Ride in
Wanship, if you'd like to join us.
Directions: I-80 eastbound to MM 155,
Wanship Exit. After you exit, turn left and go under the freeway, across
the rail trail, and the road curves to the right into Wanship.
The trailhead is right across from the Spring Chicken Inn, you can't miss it.
I've plotted it out on the new gmaps-pedometer
site. You can plot routes for mileage, elevation
changes, and satelite photos of the area as well. Pretty neat site, you
can figure out routes all over the world! Friday's ride is at http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=198245
Hope to see you Friday
