The Ride of Silence is taking place tonight at 7 pm (Wednesday, May 19) to honor fallen cyclists. It's a free ride, but in silence. The ride distance is about 7-8 miles, and will start at the north end of Liberty Park. From the person leading the ride, "We will be meeting at the North end of Liberty Park at 1900. We will then hear about some riders who have been killed while cycling in the last few years, discuss the purpose of the ride, and proceed with along the following route: We will ride around the park, out the North exit, then west on 800 S. To 200 West where we will turn North and proceed to 300 S. Heading East on 300 S. we will turn South 600 E. and return to the park.”
