I remember at the time, the lucky few who got into the show said that the guitar sounded even worse in person... it was suggested that Andy overdubbed the guitar for the telecast. Didn't Andy go missing right before they were supposed to hit the stage also? I suspect he may have had a couple too many drinks that night. He could normally play those songs in his sleep. Omaha
way or what. Speaking of the HOF gig and I love Andy but - is it just me or did Andy's guitar sound horrible. I was befuddled by the murky sound. Did anyone else listen to this or was it just me... I am assuming it was just a bad set up at the HOF and wouldnt normally happend but found it odd.

did Andy say anything about that night in his book? I've been skipping around reading it and don't remember this...
No, I don't remember anything about the HOF in Andy's book except in Edge's foreword... he also omitted the '86 sessions and the Amnesty tour, as I recall. Christopher --- Paula Mickevich <casimira@csail.mit.edu> wrote:

I find the omissions odd.... Andy's book, and Stew omitted all the fighting and breaking down of the band in Everyone Stares... not that giving the band a bad rap would be good (want to avoid it seeming like Behind the Music) but I thought that was odd. You're right, Chris, about Andy's book not mentioning the fateful year of 1986 (amnesty, sessions). That was only flaw of book... --- Christopher Simar <casimar@yahoo.com> wrote:
