Welcome Angeline! You'll find the list is a bit quiet right now but hopefully Sting will give us a reason very soon for it to pick up again! Cheers, Anne "Angeline Adams" <angeline1981@hotmail. All the best, Angeline

Hi PandaBaby! Thank you for your email!! I live in Europe too (in Vienna, Austria) and PAL would be ok with me. And I mean the video which is made in Sting's house (Ten Summoner's Tales). I have been looking for this video since forever. Some time ago I ordered it from amazon.de and they would sent me an orginally sealed video tape (with the cover of Ten Summoner's Tales) and I put it in my vcr and instead of "Ten Summoner's Tales" there was a copy of "Summoner's Travels" on the tape? - Can one believe that? - But it is true!! I'd also prefer to exchange your copy of "Ten Summoner's Tales" with mine of Sting & The Police (Best of). Sting & The Police (Best of) contains the following videos: MIAB Can't Stand Losing You Englishman In New York EBYT Seven Days Walking On The Moon Fields Of Gold Fragile Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic De Do Do Do De Da Da Da If You Love Somebody Set Them Free Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot Russians If I Ever Lose My Faith In You When We Dance Don't Stand So Close To Me Roxanne Would it be a problem for you to send the tape by listed mail? (Some of my post seems to get lost regularly...:( Here is my address (please email me yours too) : Susanna Geyer Dietrichgasse 46/18 A-1030 Vienna Austria
Cheers, Blue Turtle
Ps: I was't able to email you off list. I always got my email back (< panda@karme.com>... Data format error)

Howdy all,
I found the following on todays IMDB (http://us.imdb.com/PeopleNews/)
CELEBRITY NEWS: 13th May 2002
OZZY KNOCKS STING
Rock-god Ozzy Osbourne has lashed out at singer Sting. The legendary Black Sabbath star has taken America by storm with his MTV fly-on-the-wall documentary, The Osbournes, and reveals that although he is deeply ashamed of some of his dodgy antics, he is relieved that he has not turned out like the former Police frontman. He says, "I'm not proud of everything I've done, I'm not proud of all the drugs and booze, or biting the head off a few animals. But I was young. I didn't know what the f*** I was thinking. Still it could be worse. I could be Sting."
MADONNA IN RACE TO BUY FAIRYTALE CASTLE
Acress and singer Madonna is competing with Paul McCartney, Sting and Harrods owner Mohammed Al Fayed to buy a $6.3 million fairytale castle. Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie are planning a special viewing of Amhuinnsuidhe Castle on the Isle of Harris in Scotland. But her rivals have also expressed an interest along with the residents of the island. The castle and its 50,000 acres - famous for deer stalking and fishing - are being sold by cider millionaire Jonathan Bulmer, who once described it as "the loveliest place on Earth". Colin Strang Steel, of estate agents Knight Frank, says, "There will be a lot of personalities interested in Amhuinnsuidhe because it is a trophy estate. Estates like this rarely come on to the market."

Thanks for the barrage of replies on my search for Juliana Hatfield's cover of EBYT. Now another query. The original video for Fortress around your heart starts with a short prelude. All I can recall of it is a midget trailing after Sting calling, 'Mr Sting, Mr Sting'
Does anyone have this lying around ? I cannot find it and it certainly doesnt exist on any of the video tapes I have.

So you made me look through my collection, and I found it. It goes like this:
Man in white suit puts 8mm video tape on top of a VCR. "Here it is". Woman's voice: "Did he take the money?" Man, with a slight sneer, "Of course." --- Legs of White Suit and Midget on wooden walkway. ---- Sting asleep, on his back. His face is unshaved, and covered in sweat. Sound of thunder. He opens his eyes, startled. Midget is saying, "Mr. Sting, Mr. Sting, wakey wakey. Mr. Sting, you have a visitor. I think he remembers." Sting sits up to look at White Suit lounging in doorway. White Suit says, "You're a hard man to find." Sting says, "Not hard enough." Meanwhile we can see he's living in something like an abandoned warehouse. ---- Woman's hand rubbing her well-dressed arm, gold watch on her wrist. Woman's voice says, "How did he look?" White suit's voice: "Older." ---- Sting counting money. "Just one song." He asks/states. "And I'll choose it." ---- Woman's voice: "Play it." Tape goes in VCR. --- What follows is the video we all know, of Sting, still unshaven and in his slept-in clothes, singing "Fortress" in that warehouse while White Suit is filming him. It also includes a few glimpses of the woman, watching on her TV. (I don't remember if those appear in the short version.) ---- Final scene: Sting is wallpapering his room with the money, whistling, "Roxanne."
It's such a funny, self-mocking story, which adds a lot to the video (which is great by itself) and I can't figure out why this version has disappeared.

This version of the video has been doing the rounds on the Music Max channel on Fox cable here in Australia, over the past week.
