Re: [Police] Synchronicity DVD release in Canada
How funny! I did ask the guys (lots of service when you're in a store no one knows is open yet!) and it's not even showing up as "in transit". If it's not there Thursday, I'm ordering online. Funny you mentioned the age thing. I asked for the two "younger" CD's I was looking for first, then asked for the dvd. Didn't want to appear to be the fuddy duddy looking to relive the 80's, even though I guess I am. Even when waiting in line for U2 a couple weeks ago, the question came up "have you ever met anyone famous or shook their hand". My friend looked at me when I kept my sting thing under wraps. What's wrong with me? Not that I've met him, but I did get a handshake from the stage. My friend asked why I didn't say anything, just had to tell her I'd look like an impostor in the GA line for U2 if I was a big sting fan! Sometimes you just have to know when to keep your mouth shut (as I 'm learning in my old age). In line w/a bunch of 20 year olds--- good time to keep dirty little secrets to yourself! : ) Michelle in tx In a message dated 11/8/05 10:51:11 PM, krapola@shaw.ca writes:
I had to ask the best buy staff member for it, since it wasn;t out on the floor yet. Did you ask one of the staff? "My Guy" was very helpful. When paying, the young (hot) girl said "way cool." Of course I asked if she mean the Police and she did. Helped me feel less old. R.

I didn't have a chance to run to my new best buy (opened on Friday!), but hope to hit it Thursday. It's going to be very dangerous having it so close--- I can't resist those great release prices and can see myself there every Tuesday. I've been waiting for it to open to buy this dvd, The Exit and Curt Kirkwood, but alas.... They say all three are "on order". Should have just preordered the them and had them sent to me. SO much for supporting the new store. Any Easter Eggs on this DVD as far as anyone knows? michelle in tx In a message dated 11/8/05 8:45:42 PM, krapola@shaw.ca writes:
Finally released here, in my home and native land. Fairly pleased. Obscure song from Brimstone and Treacle use for one of the menus' Kinda cool.
On another note, Right after an interview with Stewart, the interviewer mentions King of Pain then it plays the very beginning of the song while a black and white video of dinosaur bones are shown. Considering there was no King of pain video (of which I am aware) was this a clip from any such potential video?
