I had a gazillion emails this morning from the U2 list about last night's Grammy fiasco or triumph, depending on how rabid the fan writing the email is. But something on the radio this morning made me smile. It was 18 years ago (my god, I am OLD!) today that the Police won Song of the Year (I think) for EBYT. Remember, that was the year of Thriller, so the fact that they won that Grammy was a coup. Was this the last Grammy the group won? It seems like just yesterday..... On a side note, can anyone tell me what label Santa's Boyfriend is on? Thanks. Maggie

I remember Thriller got 8 Grammy's. The Police got four for Synchronicity. I remember thinking "blasted Michael Jackson." Police would have been first. -----Original Message----- From: police-admin@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:police-admin@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Maggie White Sent: Thursday, February 28, 2002 9:06 AM To: police@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [Police] grammy history I had a gazillion emails this morning from the U2 list about last night's Grammy fiasco or triumph, depending on how rabid the fan writing the email is.
