Sting has just won the Golden Globe for Until!!!!! He seemed very surprised, but I had a good feeling about this one.
Me too after going to see Kate & Leopold and hearing it. I liked it better than when I first heard it (the accoustic version he did on Leno). Sting was on the E! channel post-show too. When they asked him what he was doing next. "I'm doing sporting events, I don't know why." He laughed. He mentioned that for the olympics he'll be singing Fragile as doves are released. About "Until", he said that he was realy inspired by the love in the script of K&L. He said that he wanted to write about "love as a political statement, since it was during the time of the bombing and the terror". He said something to that effect.
This also means he's a shoe-in for this year's Oscars...
I'm expecting that he'll sing too. Teri ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today! For your FREE software, visit: http://dl.www.juno.com/get/web/.
One final note about the Golden Globes. In today's edition of USA Today, Sting states that he is going to give the Golden Globe for "Until" to Mickey since she was the first person to listen to the song. What a wonderful 18th birthday present! Hilary
