Some friends and I are going to see The Stones and Ac Dc etc at the Toronto SARS benifit on July 30. I asked another friend if she wanted to join us and she didnt answer me right away. She said that she had to think about it. I told her that "the moment that you have to pause to think about going to something like this is the moment that you are not hip anymore". I believe that there is a truth to this statement (besides the fact that I was being funny--as usual). There is something about being hip....about being able to adapt to any situation or change. AND SOOOO IF Sting makes a new song with a new sound........For example..Send Your Love I can adapt to give it a chance instead of condemming it right away. I dont really like dance music usually. I like this. Is this wrong??? Then I am sorry to say my friends that the world is still flat. Get with "it" (Whatever "IT" is) Hip-fully yours J
i dunno, with 50,000 people expected to attend, even with the biggest binoculars the Stones are gonna look like pebbles. i think i'd rather not be hip anymore and wait for the dvd to come out!! on 7/15/03 9:41 PM, JMunz at jmunz@sympatico.ca wrote:
