Hi There, I have got this version of Every little thing she does is magic. It's just Sting, singing with one guitar asnd a drum on the background. Can someone tell me where this version comes from? If you would like to hear it, contact me personaly. regards
You can find the track on the Pangea released "Strontium 90" CD. I believe it is still widely available. Here's a link to amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000001YOP/102-8953744-5477704 ?v=glance The song is actually an early demo for the track later published on the "Ghost" album. The rest of the material dates back to a collaboration with Gong Bassist Mike Howlett that was previously unavailable. Hope this helps. Yo! Thank you, Karel, Michelle in Texas, Maurizio, Joe, Toni and Foxie You all convinced me that it must be the Strontium 90 version. Excellent show my friends! Really excellent. No surprises; an incredible voice, everybody was shocked! This is Sting voice at its best ... ...and I know what I say, as most of you know the first time I saw Sting singing was with the Police, and after tons of concerts I can say this was probably one of the best vocal performance. I spent some time with him, from the morning through the whole day, but I don't mean to stress you out about this... He's in Florence today and will be in Modena tomorrow; I'll drive there tomorrow and I wish to see a great show like the one I saw yesterday. No 'I Burn For You', that's what I really would love to listen to, but the setlist choice was good anyway, the 'general public' loved it, as well as I did. The so called 'front row' was the classic Italian one; we were all there, and I can tell we were all the wildest that followed him since the Police times....most of us have children, families, pain in the back, grey hair (NOT ME, I STILL DYE MY HAIR!!!) but the feeling was exactly the same we had more than 20 years ago. We all know each other and know how to 'play' with him; during the jam in Roxanne WE decided wich choirs to sing, and he couldn't do anything else than smile and follow our choirs. Same for Dominic, who did some riffs but gave up laughing and starting playing with our intention. A mistake at the end of 'Every Breath You Take' brought the whole band to move to nowhere, waiting for Sting to sort it out and of course he didn't failed...that comes out of years of experience and a good band supporting these kinda bizarre moments. Chris Botti did a marvellous opening act; I saw him already 6 times this year, and this guy is becoming someone......we'll see the BIG STEP very very soon. Tomorrow, in case I will have the chance to talk again to Sting, I want to ask him about this new forthcoming project (Broken Music Tour)...if he'd like to talk about; it seems there is a lot of mistery around, talking about it with technicians and band members...I'll get some more tomorrow...eheheh. Ciao ciao Giovanni

I'm certain it doesn't need to be said, but one can't be too careful. Let us know anything you find out. NDA's be damned, just kidding. Glad you enjoyed the show. Mark.
Giovanni, you lucky bastard!!!! :))))) Hugs Sting on our behalf! :)))) Actually I'm here to comment of what Giovanni said about Sting's voice. I share the same feeling that Sting's voice is back in full strength! I saw him in London in May this year and was kind of worried how things would progress, because after laryngitis he didn't sound (or looked) as good as I'm used him to see, but in Newcastle, where I was luck enough to enjoy Sting's show, his voice was superb (strong and powerful). And since we talk about it, I just wanted to say that the new set list where some songs are dropped (like This War or even Inside which I love so much), and some added (like Brand New Day), made me go back to Brand New Day tour! To remember how fitted, happy (and short haired LOL) Sting was and how I felt those 4 years ago!!!! I like SL tour, but in terms of my female's perception of life, I loved BND tour so much. And I talked to some fans after the gig in Newcastle and was just sooo surprised to see that I'm not the only one feeling this way. Just my 2 cents, so to speak! And I'll try to post my review from Panda's travel to Newcastle soon (just need to finish some work before!).
