Hi everybody, good to see this list is still alive and kicking whenever something comes to surface. Usually when Sting does something for American Express, is 'it's own thing', and it does not appear on any board (such as Sting.com, or ThePolice.com), nor any public announcement is done. I've heard about this 'policy' from the previous Amex concert at his home in Tuscany back in November last year, it has nothing to do with his usual mgmt; they surely know about it, but there is no reason to 'make some noise' around it, as it's only an AMEX biz. I guess that if you are an amex aficionado, maybe you can have the right contacts to find some news about it, calling an amex marketing office; they surely know more than anybody else. I am going to an Amex Show Sat night in Newark and wonder if it will be similar. Its weird how you have no idea going in what these will be like and there is no publicity etc. Also the Newark show is at a NHL hockey arena so its a pretty big place. I wonder if they have the top level curtained off or something. Will be interesting to see - now more excited about it after your email. David L.
