It seems like 10 songs @ 45 minutes is now his standard. Of course, I too would like more songs, but when you think about it, The Soul Cages (arguably his best) was only 9 songs, and one of them was a musical piece. So in the end, I'd rather have quality over quantity.

Yes, so is there more quality in such longevity? A few hours would be much better--though that's still longer than 45 minutes.... :D People apparently have too short of an attention span now to deal with too many songs, I guess. Not speaking of myself of course (since I listen to film scores--which take hours). Think of how long that 45 minutes is actually going to last. Two years--or how ever long the Send Your Love Tour will last. If he sings all of his new songs in a single performance, then there isn't much time to sing any of the oldy but goodies. Also, with all of his improvisations, he'd have to make his concerts last 3 hours. Not that I would mind. It's a thought.
