Re: [Police] So the dreams have started
And I can just see Sting looking down at her saying "ya think?" when asked if she'll get up there and sing for him... One of the most vivid memories I have from the Whisky was when Maggie commented "that's reasonable" after they announced the ticket prices... Sting looked at her kind of surprised and made that comment... OK, so Maggie, after all these $225+ travel amounts, how reasonable is it NOW??? Bill, you weren't the guy in Dallas that tried to persuade me to "hoist up" to kiss Sting when he was having a Neil Diamond moment, are you??? This could be a very interesting weekend! : ) Michelle In a message dated 5/18/07 5:50:52 PM, BBredice writes:
My dreams have been going on and off the past few weeks. With one exception, they've all dealt with how AWFUL the shows were. Now we know this won't happen, so don't worry. I just don't know what it says about me. Most recently, Sting could not sing, but the show went on. He was counting on Andy for vocals, and we know how that played out...he just couldn't carry a tune. Luckily for us fans, I was seated right up front with one of our great fellow list members (Maggie) and I pushed her up on stage to sing vocals and save the day. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, she refused. We endured a music-only show that night. I'm looking forward to watching Maggie at karaoke night and having that part of my dream come true. Bill
