Oh, Lydia, Not dissing that it's not great work, it's just not my thing. I've watched the PBS special (which I believe is the same as the DVD?) and also had bought some tunes off of itunes that I thought were exclusives. Beautiful music, and I respect his desire to expand his horizons, but it's just not for me! I'm not into country music either, but I have gone along w/his two country songs just fine!!! Like I said, bought them, I just think I need to wait until maybe I'm more mature to appreciate it fully. I think Bruce had said he'd go see it if he were in town for the lute tour, but to travel for it, that'd be out of my realm of expenditures as well! Nice for him and fans of that genre that he took that tangent, but I don't want to lose him for much longer if he were to stick with it!!! Yes, I should crack open the CD and give it a listen more than the few that are on my ipod, but I can't make it through those w/out losing interest. Sorry, that's just me... Wasn't meaning to be unkind, just expressing my joy in his desire to find something other than another lute CD to surprise us with!!! cheers! michelle In a message dated 6/23/07 11:26:14 AM, lydia.dicorato@tin.it writes:
ohhh noooo michelle, that's very unkind and unprofessional for a big fan as i suppose u are!! You should lissen to it and try to lissen also a fantastic job as" Welcome to the voice is!!! " As songs from the labirynth this album is incredible well done ...I think in the song number 4 called " unfailing welcome to the voice" and repeated again with "eloge infini de la voix humaine" is the best way to lissen to Sting voice so warm and concetrated... I now the first time you 'll say " Oh my god ..i could sleep..." but after 3 time you 'll enjoy it , you can't immagine how much.... JUST DO IT !!!
