I endured (the only appropriate word) the entire 2-hour telecast of the Billboard Awards and I was so annoyed by the time he came out, I (almost) didn't care anymore. Host Bernie Mac, "the King of Comedy"? Who is he? Some WB sitcom player? Big deal! So Trudie is on Friends tomorrow, and Sting is on the Today Show Friday (no surprise there, actually -- Katie and the other chick are completely ga-ga over him), and then...MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL?!? I'm sorry, I love Sting, I think he's gorgeous and his music is still my favorite, but, am I the only one who thinks these gratuitous apearances somehow cheapen the package? I loved the Tuscany concert,and the documentary thereof, but these little appearances, especially where he doesn't sing, or talk, just reads from a pre-prepared script, are not my favorite. Anyone agree? And anyone have a theory about why? Is it his new management, do you think? Just wondering, Holly
