According to stingus.net, this is indeed a remix. And I would like to remind people that a) the single version of Brand New Day, the track, wasn't a patch on the album version, and b) as some people have mentioned, if you'd heard the remixes of Desert Rose before the originals, you might not have been impressed either. Now, it's true that the drums are drum machines. But as for no Dominic guitar, well, it's *stuffed* full of Dominic guitar - mixed down, yes, but you can hear it quite clearly at 0:47-0:57 (there are other parts that I *think* are Dominic, but that part is most blatantly Dominic IMO). Vincente Amigo's flamenco guitar is clearly audible at around 1:40ish, 2:38 and 3:14 amongst other things. I'm guessing there will be a hell of a lot more on the album version.
