I found something on Bearshare, but I'm not sure what it is, or more precisely, why it is. I looked for Police videos, and I get a result titled... (Music video) anime - Tenchi muyo - The Police - Every Breath You Take It's audio of EBYT, but the video is an anime of a Japanese man and woman. The beginning frames show it's also titled... Anime Nashville Samantha Copeland Every Breath You Take - The Police Tenchi Muyo - Tenchi In Love! AnimeNashville.org I guess some people in Tennessee like to use rock videos and set them to anime video. This is new to me. Is it just people screwing around?? I'm not into anime, but the girl is cute. I suppose if you like anime and The Police, you'll love this. Gary

Fan "song vidding" has been going on for a long time...at least as long as there have been vcrs with audio overdub capabilities :-) It's kind of an underground thing that's only becoming more widely known now that people can use home computers to vid and upload their stuff on the web. Before then they mostly just circulated around the science fiction/media conventions and through tape trading. There are folks who do it to anime, folks who do it to TV shows from Star Trek to Buffy. Just a fun little hobby. I haven't seen many vids set to Police songs before, though...only one for "I Burn For You" using the film "The English Patient". sockii
I found two videos of that kind a while ago: "Fragile", with images from an anime called "Grave of the Fireflies", and "She's Too Good for Me" with images from some other Japanese(?) anime. The first one is actually really nice, but the second is not very good. Mikkel On 19 Feb 2003 at 20:56, Gary Schmitz wrote:
