[Police] I guess I misunderstood the meaning of "sting" in sting.com
They make it seem like it is your choice? "OK, how much without the Processing Fee, Oh, and please I'll have the ticket that is inconvenient saving me the $6.00 Convenience charge. Please no handling for me thanks (use automation), that way it will cost me $8.70 less. While I'm saving money I'll pass on the Facility fee too. So ticket are NOT $60. They are over $80.00 There is something wrong with that picture. At best it is misleading. At worst, it is dishonest. I was about to buy my two tickets, and I saw they wanted to charge me an additional $40 (US) above and BEYOND the ticket price. I've tried to keep my mouth shut about the site/fanclub as I have heard a lot of complaints. But charging Processing Fee ($ 2.50 - per ticket) Handling Fee ($ 8.70 - per order) Convenience Fee ($ 6.00 - per ticket) Facility Fee ($ 7.00 - per ticket) Give me a fucking break. I'm am seriously annoyed with this and I don't whine too often. Not to mention the stupidity of it all. Why not be honest and charge $80 per ticket to include EVERYTHING, otherwise it feels like you're being "nickel and dime" to death. It's beyond ridiculous -it's asinine. Screw the decision makers for such idiocy. I realize they aren't a benevolent organization, and they want to make money? But tacking on additional $20 in such a manner? Anyway I realize the fanclub organizers are unlikely the ones responsible. But if I am going to fly from North America to Paris, get a hotel, eat, drink and be Merry, I am not about to let a ticketing agency to charge me these "incedentals." It is no wonder tickets are still available. Many who take the order this far feel like they are being screwed. Having said all that, there is probably a good reason they do it this way (i.e. a law or something) But fair enough it is a choice. I regretted joining the fanclub given what I am hearing (I hope to be proved wrong). I won't regret purchasing these tickets as I may choose not to do so. It's put me in a mind set where I am not sure I could enjoy the show. Those who do decide to purchase, have a blast. My Best, Ross
