Alternative Lyrics to "Bed's Too Big Without You"
I distinctly remember at two or three of the several Police shows I attended that Sting substituted (presumably because of problems at home) the words "best to be without you" for "bed's too big without you." Does anyone have audio evidence of this, or a similar recollection? Thanks, Steve

This is the first I've heard of it being an entire album. I know of the Harrison track; I was of the impression that was something Jools simply did with George. Not a bad tune, btw.
The song is called "Seventh Son", and I have put it on my webserver for your listening pleasure :-) Download here: www.geocities.com/mikkelsplace/SeventhSon.zip Hope it works. I've been a fan of Jools for a while and it's not easy to get his music here in the US. But before I knew the cd "Big Band Small World" was going to be released here, I spent big buck on Amazon for it. Oh well - it is great, Sting's, George's, and Paul Weller's songs are the highlights ... very good album. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? yes its a whole album, and from what i've heard from people who have listened to it, its a keeper! here is the excerpt about sting, which paula m from this list posted earlier: Sting sings along with the Band on almost the shortest song on the CD with "Seventh Son" (I'm the one, I'm the one, the one they call the seventh son) Most of the song is the orchestra and Sting sounds stuffed up but that could be my Discman - I am listening to it here at work. song is 3.04 minutes. Lots of spirit in the song. (recorded Aug. 2001) on 1/8/02 8:43 AM, Soapbox In The Foothills at sacstorm@innercite.com wrote:
