We went to a pub in the Temple Bar area of Dublin last night to listen to traditional Irish music. The two guys playing played a mixture of Irish music, some of their own songs and some folk songs on fiddle and guitar. At one point, they begin to sing a song and I'm thinking, "Hey, I know this." It was So Lonely. It was very cool to hear them do it. I saw several people singing along. They did it like the "live" version with "low, low, lows" and the fiddle player did the guitar solo. It was fun. Other than that, no Police-related news in Ireland. I saw some De Do 45s in a record store, and tons of U2 boots, but that's it. I'll be back to the real world in a week. :( Maggie
