And they had a lot of bad luck with labels. MCA got bought out just when it looked like things were going to happen with Everything Will Never Be OK, then Geffen did little to promote them... And as I found out when it was on telly at Christmas, the "Holes" song turns out not even to be in the film in its original state; you just get some of the characters singing the chorus a capella. I bought the soundtrack at the time though; it's a great song. I think Joe has probably had to swallow a lot of pride, having tried so hard to make it without the "guess who daddy is" label slung around the band's neck. But hell, they're such a good band... they'll make it hard for anyone to claim that they're undeserving of any success the tour exposure puts their way. Has anyone got the Vancouver rehearsal footage on other sites? I tried both the Rock101 and Vancouver News sites, but my computer lately has a real problem with media that streams via Windows Media Player for some reason. Can't find it on YouTube!! :( Now to go and see if there's any chance of seeing FP's Leno appearance online... any leads there would also be appreciated. Ang
