Me too. I prefer angry Sting's music, and yoga Sting's "persona". I couldn't stand his public persona in the early years----breaking up the best band on earth, but still stuck w/him despite the antics. I do love to see him smile and actually look happy now.
I think I recall one of his quotes that said he finally realized he doesn't have to be unhappy to write good music--- but I'd debate that one. Yes, I like his music now, but given the option, give me that opinionated pain in the arse back!

It's really weird when you compare Sting today and Sting back then. It's 2 different people ... Angry Sting and Mellow yoga Sting. I personally prefer angry Sting, songs were better and sung with more attitude.
