Hi everyone, First, a big thank-you to everyone who mailed me on- and off-list about "The Lazarus Heart"; I'm delighted that it appears on those CDs.:) Secondly, I saw the "Dumb And Dumberer" trailer too. Although I think it's nice when a new movie uses a Police track in that it could introduce people to the band who, like me, were just kids when they split up, I did feel a little annoyed that this use of the song probably fits into the mentality that it's just another nonsense-lyrics type song, an attitude that Sting himself wasn't thrilled about back when it came out and the band got a lot of flack about it. Interesting to see "Brimstone And Treacle" getting a DVD release under a new cover design, but it seems a shame that like the previous DVD, this doesn't include any extra scenes. I read that some of Sting's best bits ended up on the cutting-room floor, and it would've been cool to see the extra scenes.
