Hi everybody from Giovanni in Milan, Italy. Today I've heard for the first time the new track from Tom Waits incuding Stewart Copeland on drums: it's a Stewart we haven't listened to before, playing with a complete different mood, funny in a way (I guess he really enjoed doin' it); a sort of a swing bluesy ballad Tom Waits style, soft and midtempo, very acoustic and ...not too easy to explain....but very very simple to be played, with a very regular tempo; I only heard it once, but maybe tomorrow I'll have a chance to listen to it again. Both Tom Waits album are a real experience, and I believe Stewart is proud to be part of a recording 'out of this times' but into our reality! Ciao ciao Giovanni Ps.: don't put this review anywhere, thanks. -----Messaggio originale----- Da: police-admin@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:police-admin@mailman.xmission.com]Per conto di church Inviato: lunedì 25 marzo 2002 15.46 A: police@xmission.com Oggetto: [Police] sting @ the oscars http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?g=events/en/021302oscars&a=&tmpl=sl&ns=&l=1 &e=85&a=0
