I didn't realize John Mayer was such a Police fan. I came across his cover of MIAB on Youtube, which is just amazing if you've never seen/heard it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmYys-ZjNrg <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmYys-ZjNrg&mode=related&search> &mode=related&search= I would have to agree that Kanye West should probably have been told by MC Hammer, "You can't touch this..." I found MIAB from Live Earth on Youtube, and yeah, I couldn't make it to the end because I was getting too annoyed by Kanye West. The more I see/hear of him, the more I think he's a complete idiot. John Mayer did well, though, actually. One thing I wanted to add.... I've heard speculation that the reason the Miami Unplugged gig was cancelled was due to Sting's voice, and I definitely think MIAB might be an example of that. Did anyone else hear his voice break up in the early (pre-Kanye) part of the song? Just a thought.... Çhris On Jul 10, 2007, at 9:51 AM, Robert Johnson wrote:

Yeah, his voice seemed a little worse for wear for three nights straight. The rumor I've heard about the Unplugged issue was that it was simply a rush scheduling from the start that the band wasn't happy with. That they wanted more time to prepare for it and eventually got their way on postponing until later. sockii
