There are now 114 listings for Sting tickets on eBay. Go brokers! There are some prices in the $900 range. Boston front row has an asking price (no bids yet) of $1,300. Los Angles, third row pit, are $1,200, from a BROKER! Those had to come through the pre-sale. There are a few single great seats at not too much above face value for anyone who got shut out and is desperate. There are also some at ridiculous prices! Maggie
Those broker tix did not necessarily come from the presale. When the venues( or whomever) allot tickets, they usually allot a good chunk of them directly to the brokers. I know this from some extended discussions with a few brokers during another tour I was getting tix for, also there was an excellent local( Boston) investigative piece on this about 2 years ago. Everyone gets a big piece of the pie, and fans usually end up with the high priced crumbs - at least with the fan club tix the fans are pretty much getting first crack at some good seats. If you go to several shows during the tour, the $45 fan club fee doesn't seem quite so high. on 11/18/03 5:18 PM, Maggie White at mwhite@gw.smbsd.k12.ca.us wrote:
