The ceremony is not open to the general public. Only folks related to the bands and the big wig entertainment industry people. (Last year, one of the Corrs was there, how does crap like that happen??!) Occasionally, tickets are auctioned for charity. Last year, a pair went for $6,000. You really, really need to be connected to attend. I'm sure some folks we know will manage to go, but the average fan.....highly unlikely. Maggie

is it possible to attend the ceremony?? Or do you have to verrryyy... well connected in the music industry to get in to one of those things. Just think, the Police & the Clash & Elvis Costello & the Attractions. My dream come true. Anne
Yes, I guess that we will all be relegated to watching it on VH1. This is when I wish I had some sort of connection....or lots of money. A few years ago they had talked about having a concert every year in Cleveland with some of that year's inductees participating. I guess that never took off, although it is a great idea for fans like us! As no one else has had anything to say on this front, I will be the first to announce that I managed to get 2 tickets for the Police reunion show in March. I didn't have to pay the 10,000 dollars either as our company was already a rather large contributer to the HOF. Like Ross said, we have waited 1000 years for this to happen, to bad I can't get any more tickets or I would take you all Jeremy & Deb
Well, for those who are interested, I did find out that if you donate $10,000.00 or more to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland you have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the induction ceremonies if tickets are available. So even if you give $10,000.00+ you still are not guaranteed tickets! Hilary
