You know, I think I've hit on what really could be the problem. It's the fact that people don't always or usually don't know when said number of exclusive people are going to try to get tickets or trying for certain events. It's the missed opportunity to join in on the adventure and the effort. Most people don't like or don't have the ability to do these things on their own--and would benefit greatly by the experience of those who have done these things. When they find out later that they could have joined in waiting outside or snuck in with someone else--it causes a terrible feeling of being left out. I think that's a great part of it. Especially, if the said event is close to you, or within your means and ability to travel. Perhaps it's just common courtesy were really talking about here. Just a thought.
