I just arrived home from a short holiday and am pleased to see some life in this list! I never understood why people told people which topics could be mentioned on this mailing list and which ones couldn't. The USA want to be a World POLICE. So for a POLICE mailing list mentioning the Chief of the World Police is within the rules... Dietmar
But then I'd add, this is a Police list, so lets all quit talking solely about Sting, or his record company, or any record company, or bootleggers, or U2...etc etc etc, if we're going to be strict.

Fellow listers, will you all PLEASE either think twice before making such posts or at least keep them off-list? We¹re never going to get out of it otherwise. I¹m not at all against debate, I have my opinions but I really feel this is going out of control. No one can be held responsible for what his/her country has done or is doing, we are not countries, we are a list of human beings. Some of us have strong patriotic feelings, some of us (like me) don¹t, the only way we can respect everyone is to avoid judgements on other people¹s countries.
