Re: [Police] new releases of Old material. Let's getstarted!!!
The HOF induction is usually in March in NY. But it's invite only. Tickets, when they are available to special people only, are in the $2,000 range, I believe. But really, it's only music folks and stars, I don't think "regular folks" are part of the evening. Didn't you see the audience on Wednesday? Occasionally, I've heard of charities auctioning a ticket or two, but I think those are few and far between. But you've got to admit, even seeing the guys play together on VH1 two nights later would be spectacular. Maggie

I would (almost) kill to get "Police Around the World" and/or a complete collection of videos on DVD. I would bet that many of you out there on this list would drool at the prospect. Anyone know if this stuff exists. Who do we pester to get this produced? Perhaps the whole Hall of Fame thing would provide a good "marketing opportunity" for these sorts of releases. Speaking of induction ceremony, is it usually a certain week of the year? Sadly, I have to ask for vacation far in advance to be able to attend concerts, travel anywhere, etc... (I'm sure that I'm not alone in this) Anne
Oooooo! Me! Me! Count me in! I'd be happy to do that which we must to make this happen!!!

Hi everybdoy from Giovanni in Milano. this morning I was listening to 'The End Of The Game' that I didn't listen to for some months, and I realised this is the kind of track that may be well played and preformed by The Police if they were on stage again; it sounds like the obviuos Police track after what they have done in their career, talking about sounds and rhythms, melodies and impact; this is the song I can easily imagine the guitar parts played by Andy Summers, with all the 'chord tricks and sound' he could invent, and the drumming by Stewart Copeland, seen what he has done with Oysterhead; that would be the Police in 2002!...again at the top with something like that. OFF TOPIC: anybody interested in how I look right now??? I know some of you are....ahahh! Take a look at the interview done to my band (or dance project I should say) incuding one pic with me at the following URL: http://www.futurestyle.org/101/outmean.htm#top The song is still on the playlist for some important radio station involved in dance music. Ciao ciao Giovanni
