The music/beat makes you move (like it or not) in a physical act of /moving pushing us forward, a great reflection of the lyrics. I unfortunately have only heard the small snippet offered up on sting.com, but it definitely has the potential of capturing a wide audience (a goal of most musicians). I remember not being able to listen to "desert rose" for awhile after hearing it fifteen times a day on my kids' favorite radio station, but have since reclaimed it for myself. "Send your love" holds that possibility. As of now, it's message far outweighs any quibble I have about its musical quality that I may or may not like. I hope it gets a great deal of airplay and acceptance! And bravo to you, Sting, for the constant change and exploration of your gifts. Thank you! OK, so it seems the track we've been hearing is a remix of the album version, I emailed sting.com about this and they also confirmed it. Joy is slowly coming back to my life, Sting going techno or dance or whatever that crap is called would simply be too much for me to bare. I'm looking on the bright side now, as a remix it's much better than usual (remember Desert Rose, Faith, Sister moon?) and the potential for a good, proper single remains intact. Anyway, after this shock everything on the record will sound great, bring it on!
