At one point in my junior year of high school, my mother made me take down all my Sting/Police pictures/posters because she said I was putting "idols before God."
I have to know-- were you able to put them up again later? =) I remember when I got into the Police I used to watch at least part of the Synchronicity concert EVERY NIGHT before I went to bed. And my father, passing through the living room, would jokingly refer to Sting as "the godhead". I guess all us fans had our own sort of religion. jENNIFER "I don't matter, you don't matter Neither does this mindless clatter." -P.T. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp

my office and home are STILL a shrine to the greatest band the world has ever known. i have 2 framed posters (and numerous pictures)up at work: one from a SYNCHRONICITY picture shoot, the other a concert poster from the REGATTA tour with a caption that reads "the police world tour 1980: the 1st anglo-american police action since world war II". at home, a framed SYNCHRONICITY concert poster from a paris '83 show - this was a battle as wife my said it does not go with the decor. needless to say, i won! rich --- Ross Viner <rossviner@shaw.ca> wrote:
