Hi Don, YES, he does sound eerily like dad, and looks like him as well with some of the gestures he makes, but doesn't have the strong upper body like Sting does (yet) The potential is there for that! I saw them in Boston last year and could close my eyes at times and think I was at a Ghost concert! Joe does have his own sound (I think a little deeper voice), but on the songs with higher notes, he's just like dad. Gotta LOVE that! That CD is one of the few in my life where I couldn't get enough of it, plus it usually takes me a few listens to say I like a CD. That one was INSTANT. I'm sure seeing them before hearing it helped, so I'd be curious to see how it goes with my perception on the third CD. Can't wait to get my hands on it and see them again. Cheers Michelle amongst the piles of boxes. (packers are here, we're moving south)! In a message dated 8/1/02 8:12:52 AM, MORRDT@jea.com writes:
I haven't heard anyone say it (or at least I don't remember), but does anyone else think that Joe Sumner sounds just like his dad on Swings and Roundabouts?
Just wondering, Don in Sunny Florida
