Re: [Police] Police press conference on Monday!
Well, in a hopeful note on how hard core fans will be treated, Sting.com is giving away 20 tickets to the press conference/rehearsal on Monday at the Whiskey-A-Go-Go in LA to legacy members. Hilary On Thu, 8 Feb 2007 17:35:51 -0600, David <dripdry@gmail.com> wrote :

Alright, I'll get back on topic. So.... do you think they'll try out some new material/ideas? Will we see a return of back-up singers ala Synchronicity era, or just the three of them? Hearing about who is going to run the world tour for them, I fear there will be little catering to the hard core fans, but I will keep my hopes up.
There, that's on topic.

We all know where the "hard core fans" of The Police hang out though. ;-)
Speaking of.. I never became a member of Sting.com. Partly because I didn't think they were offering much value for $50-60 at the time. Is that a lifetime price or yearly?? Anyhow, hindsight is 20/20 right? Too bad for me, but I probably wouldn't have won anyway. But I wish that Andy & Stew's sites would do something. I spend more time on them than Sting.com. News about sting is easy to come by, but you really have to look to find out what's going on with Andy & Stew. Do you think that this is going to be a tour where you'll have to be a Sting fanclub member to get good seats or do the big venues have enough available if you're willing to pay? Actually, sc.net is giving away a number of passes to the event on Monday as well - and no one had to pay a dime to get in on them. The info's been all over the message forum there (which is where 90% of the news and info goes down). Not the 20 passes sting.com got, maybe, but still something quite generous. I'm sure more news and opportunities will come up in coming weeks as well... -nicole
