Hi Everybody, So I just recently found out about this thing happening (happened?) around the web, isolated vocals on songs, such as the following http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/1Fe5ut so of course my next thought is,"what about The Police?" http://multitrackmaster.com/tag/the-police/ I know we had a fine fellow, Jo Publik, remix some stuff here (are you still around, Jo? "Hello? s'this Jo?" to quote Sting... ) called ReInvestigations. I know most of you are on some forum somewhere, but I just can't seem to migrate over there and pull myself up to date. Hope you're all quite well and loving spring as it blossoms into summer. Hey, really crazy question, but anybody else inspired by Sting to start doing yoga and still with it? Best, David [Man in a Suitcase]
Ciao Man In A Suitcase, good to hear from you! The isolated tracks are always a very very interesting 'angle' to listen to a certain song, and beyond being a fan, for people like me into production, that's a must to hear! Ciao ciao from this side of the planet, Milano (Expo 2015 ... who's coming?) Hi gang, Giovanni here from Milano! Some of you may have already noticed, but here's an official statement (??!!): I have just opened a new youtube page where I will upload a lot of video stuff I personally filmed or anyway linked to my Illegal Tales community. Illegal Tales was born as a paper fanzine/fan club devote to The Police in 1988, and still alive and kicking, now as a simple website as well as a page on facebook; many italian fans consider Illegal Tales as a point of reference to get news, curiosities, anedocts etc...etc... Since 1989 I started also filming stuff 'around' Illegal Tales, I mean shows, live tracks, rehersals and all this stuff is in my hands; most of this stuff is in VHS and I never had the time to turn it into digital, but lately I started working on it, and step by step I'm getting some of this stuff digitally transfered. To cut a long story short, most of the videos are about Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland (backstage, live, dinners...) as well as some tv appearances that I personally scheduled with their partecipation (Sting calling me on phone while I was promoting Illegal Tales on tv is a clear example). Well, too many words alredy! Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXpi1WBs4DCHQGmoOcEiU1Q and subscribe if you like it! Gio
