Every single band that I have seen appear on these shows "mysteriously" only received requests for the songs that were already being performed on their current tour. Therefore, they only chose to broadcast the calls that request specific songs. Kind of makes sense, I cannot see Sting taking requests for songs that he hasn't played in 20 years, and that his band has never played at all.
