Hi Mike, I'm so sorry to hear of Carl's tragic passing. I remember reading his posts as I always loved his screen name. My next donation to the ADA will be in Carl's honor. I suffered from gestational diabetes and the thought of children having to deal with what I did (only temporarily) left a lasting impression on me. There are many other causes I support, but none stronger than finding a cure for diabetes. May Carl rest in peace. Carl was 36, and the second of his parents' two children to have passed away much too soon. My friends and I would like to remember Carl for them as best as we can, and any thoughts or memories you have to share would be deeply appreciated.
