Hello Ross, he indeed had, he claimed that for example at teh TW concerst of 1991, Sting didn't allow him to perform as he wanted to give a long set because Paul Simon did give a very long as well ... I attended these and although Vinx was mentioned as one of teh acts, he did not appear ... anyway, the FLYING BOTTLES accident at those concerts during message in a bottle was hilarious but for some very painful... Hi This was VINX in 1990 Vinx's first 3 albums were released on the pangea label = Sting's own label. And Vinx toured in 1991 with Sting on first leg of the Soul Cages Tour.Vinx also was to be seen in 1991 MTV StingUnplugged.
In 1998 Vinx made an album with his new band called Jungle Funk. (for Cream-records)
